In the Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies Program, students critically and creatively bring the analysis of gender to bear on their personal, professional, and civic roles. Designed for students wishing to be exposed to issues that transcend a single discipline, the specialization promotes excellence in education, personal growth, civic awareness, and unique learning experiences and offers a cutting-edge curriculum relevant to the needs of employers. Students engage in a host of co-curricular events and initiatives that help them cultivate their professional skills and put theory into practice.<br><br>With an enhanced understanding of how gender and sexual politics operate in professional and social environments, student majors and minors go on to pursue a wide array of careers in politics, community relations, education, law, recreation, health and medicine, social work, counseling, business, and finance.
