This option is designed to prepare students to meet the high demand for qualified ESL teachers throughout the State of Illinois and the nation. Students in this option will complete the requirements for the Elementary Education licensure; after successful completion, students will be granted State approval for the ESL endorsement through the Illinois State Board of Education.
