The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is designed to produce educators who are responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating early childhood education and care programs. As part of the Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care program at Holmesglen, students develop the skills and knowledge needed to design and deliver educational programs tailored to children's abilities and interests. The program covers the National Quality Framework, including the Early Years Learning Framework, and the compliance requirements of the National Quality Standards.<br>Students will receive hands-on training and gain practical experience through real-world work placements while learning in state-of-the-art early childhood facilities with dedicated teachers and industry professionals who share their expertise.<br>Upon graduation, students are well-equipped to take on leadership roles in early childhood education, such as supervising staff and volunteers, and have the potential to progress to positions like Early Childhood Service Director or Coordinator.
