Get the hands-on skills and experience necessary to become an early childhood educator working with infants, toddlers, and young children. This international diploma is specifically designed to meet the needs of international students wanting to progress in to work as an early childhood educator, or who want to go on to study the MIT Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching) (Level 7). Learn about early childhood education and curriculum in New Zealand while gaining academic English skills to support further study. You will spend time in both a classroom and an early childhood setting, including a 3-week placement in industry, organised by the faculty. When you complete the diploma you will be eligible, under specified criteria, to pathway into the second year of the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching) (Level 7) at MIT.
