This course aims to develop the skills and knowledge required for teaching English to non-English speaking learners in a variety of contexts, both in Australia and overseas. It is designed for- People who are qualified teachers in their own countries but who wish to obtain a qualification in modern, communicative teaching techniques, focusing on the teaching of oral English; People who are not qualified teachers but who wish to work as teaching assistants or otherwise in their own countries; People who wish to teach in ELICOS colleges in Australia or EFL (English as a Foreign Language) overseas.
