Early childhood is the most important time of children’s development and learning. Our field-based Early Childhood Education program prepares you to successfully teach and make an impact on the whole child.<br>Through our Early Childhood Education program, you will be prepared to become certified to teach children from birth through age eight (3rd grade). In this field-based program, you will experience active learning at UMKC and through classroom placements.
