Applicants must submit official transcripts from each college or university where college credit was earned to the Office of Graduate Admissions A minimum GPA of 3.0 in the graduate work is required Transcripts from every college or university where college credit was earned must accompany the application Transcripts from the college or university attended must be issued to SVSU Applicants who have completed credit at SVSU do not need to submit a copy of their SVSU transcript All official transcripts must be received by the beginning of the term the applicant has applied

Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate competence in English The College requires a score of 550 or higher on the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL written exam 79 or better on the computer based version or 79 or better on the Internet-based version For the International English Language Testing System IELTS exam applicants must achieve a score of 6.5 or better
