The Computer Information Systems (CIS) program will prepare you for entry level business positions requiring the use of computer applications, and will qualify you in the use of word processing, spreadsheet and database management applications. More advanced students may enroll in telecommunications and computer networking courses.<br>Students satisfactorily completing the required courses in the following certificate options will be eligible for the Certificate of Proficiency. Confer with a counselor or the division dean concerning the specific pattern of requirements for these programs.
