The General Science Major provides a comprehensive undergraduate education in science, exposing students to a wide range of disciplines. Students are free to explore what interests them most, as well as gain greater depth of understanding by declaring concentrations in two of: Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Mathematics and Physics. A strong foundation in mathematical and computational sciences is core to the program of study, ensuring students are equipped to meet these in-demand skills. In the final year of study, students complete two capstone courses (a senior seminar and an interdisciplinary project) that provide understanding and exposure regarding how science and technology intersects and influences society. These capstone experiences are excellent preparation for further post-secondary studies, for professional programs, or for direct entry into the workforce.
