Astronomy courses at North introduce scientific methods used to study our solar system and the rest of the universe, including a survey of the planets, galaxies, black holes and the origin of the universe. Coursework relates historical points of view to current thoughts and ideas about the evolution of life in the universe. In astronomy you get acquainted with the history of astronomy and its applications.<br><br>Courses satisfy AA degree or professional/technical program requirements, provide transfer preparation without a degree, individual courses for those already in a 4-year school, or personal enrichment.
