A minimum of a C grade in 5 GCSE or IGCSE or Ordinary Levels or equivalent in academic subjects.
A minimum of 4.0 full senior academic courses reported on your academic transcript.
A minimum SAT combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing plus Math score of 1190 OR a minimum ACT composite score of 24.
The score reports must be official and come to the Admissions Office directly from the College Board or ACT.
IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.5, A minimum of 6.0 in each section.
TOEFL IBT - A minimum overall score of 83, A minimum of 20 in each section.
PTE - A minimum overall score of 58, A minimum of 56 in each section.
International Baccalaureate - Youll need -
A complete IB Diploma including.
Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay.
Passes in at least six subjects three at Higher Level.
A minimum total grade of 27 including the Extended Essay and TOK.
No mark less than 4 on any course.

Earth Sciences is the science of the planet Earth. We seek to understand the Earth's internal structure and composition, its dynamic character (earthquakes, volcanoes, plate tectonics), the processes that occur within it, the processes that shape its surface and the materials that constitute its surface layers, the connections between Earth's surface processes, climate and our environmental sustainability, the origin, occurrence, extraction and conservation of the Earth's natural resources (minerals, fossil fuels, soils, and water), the place of the Earth within the Solar System, and the history of life on Earth.<br><br>Western's Department of Earth Sciences is a close-knit and dynamic department combining cutting edge academic and applied research with strong mentorship and teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Our graduates can be found in industry, academia and government across Canada and around the world. Come see us in the Biological and Geological Sciences Building to see what Earth Sciences has to offer.
