This 20-week (600-hour) program provides students with little or no previous experience in the sheet metal trade with the necessary skills to seek employment in that industry as an apprentice sheet metal worker. Upon successful completion of the program students will receive credit for Level One Technical Training and 350 work-based hours towards completion of Sheet Metal Worker apprenticeship.<br><br>The program exposes students to aspects of residential, commercial and industrial systems in this trade with a focus on developing practical skills. The curriculum follows the Industry Training Authority guidelines for the first-year in-class components of the Sheet Metal Worker Apprenticeship.
