As an engineer, you'll apply maths and science in a practical way, and work in teams to develop new technologies and improve existing ones. The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) has a common first year, allowing you to experience a range of disciplines before deciding on a specialisation. It focuses on the role of the engineer in the future while developing your foundational skills for engineering. In your second year, you can choose to specialise in one of the following engineering disciplines: chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and computer systems engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics and mechatronics engineering or software engineering
