Gain the skills and knowledge you need to apply for your Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW).<br>This Maritime Crewing programme caters for entry-level deck and engine room crew keen to work at sea on large seagoing vessels. <br>You have the option to complete the programme with one of two strands, either Deck Crewing, or, Engineering. <br>Each strand meets the competency standards required under STCW and as specified in the Maritime New Zealand Seafarer Certification and Operational Limits Framework. <br>Completion of this qualification is a prerequisite to applying for a<br>Maritime New Zealand STCW Deck Watch Rating licence, OR<br>Maritime New Zealand STCW Engine Watch Rating licence. <br>Either of these licences will allow you to work with limited supervision as a crew on vessels operating in unlimited waters.
