To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must submit documentation that they have the equivalent of one of the following: high school equivalency certificate (GED) Associate or higher degree standard high school diploma High School If you graduated from a high school in the United States, please request that final, official transcripts be sent to HCC in a sealed envelope or electronically directly from your high school by the given application deadline. Transcripts must include your final grades and graduation date. Opened transcripts are considered to be unofficial and will not be accepted. IELTS academic overall band score of 5.5 or higher TOEFL score of 61 (iBT) or higher.

The drafting certificate teaches the practical skills you need for a construction drafting career. The certificate may lead to employment as a draftsperson in an architect's, engineer’s, or contractor’s office; governmental agency; corporate planning department; or other private industry. Credits earned in this certificate program apply to the architectural design and technology AS degree. This certificate provides the students with the practical skills necessary to accept the challenges of a construction drafting career. Successful certificate holders may find employment as a draftsperson in architects, engineers, or contractors offices; governmental agencies, corporate planning departments or other private industries.
