Engineering management professionals understand the practice and concepts of engineering, and they know how to build and manage teams to address the engineering challenges of today. Our engineering management program combines the study of engineering with courses from Gonzaga's School of Business Administration. You'll receive a broad engineering education while developing leadership, project management, and fundamental business skills to solve problems, meet deadlines and manage budgets and resources. You'll grow your technical knowledge as well as your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.Develop engineered solutions that are well-conceived and carefully implemented to meet public and private sector needs. Contribute effectively to organizations as leaders and/or team members. Foster personal and organizational success in a dynamic, globalized professional environment. Improve society by applying Jesuit, humanistic values to their professional and civic responsibilities. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics, an ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors, an ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
