Our doctoral degrees allow students to explore their love of science, engineering and computing in a supportive academic environment. Our Kansas City location gives you access to thriving industry, and our campus partnerships allow for experimentation across diverse academic endeavors. Over 85% of our research is done in partnership with the UMKC School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Dentistry, School of Pharmacy and College of Arts and Sciences – all of which offer world-class programs. The Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs offer doctorate study through UMKC's Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program.
