Ceramics is a multidisciplinary practice that integrates ceramic processes with sculpture, painting, drawing, print media, digital applications, design and architecture. Our program acknowledges the rich history of ceramics, but still looks to current thought processes and techniques. Traditional techniques are merged with Twenty First Century applications, providing a wide range of tools for the exploration of ideas in both two and three dimensions.Studio specializations are offered in ceramics, drawing, graphic design, installation, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Each of these areas is instructed by at least one faculty member considered to be a specialist in that creative discipline.
