The MS degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering is primarily a degree for students who wish to equip themselves with a more solid foundation in the principles of chemical and biochemical engineering. Master's degree candidates may elect a thesis or non-thesis option. The thesis option consists of a minimum of 30 credits - 24 course credits and 6 credits for a thesis on a research project. In the non-thesis option, a candidate must complete 30 course credits and submit a critical essay.
