Through the Graduate School at Purdue University, The Division of Environmental and Ecological Engineering (EEE) offers M.S. (thesis and non-thesis) and Ph.D. degrees. Applications and all supporting documentation must be received on or before December 15 for admission in the following fall semester. Environmental and Ecological Engineering empowers students to serve people and the planet. We prepare graduates for work in academia, industry, consulting, and government, with responsibility ranging from the design of drinking water and wastewater treatment systems, to improving air quality, to fostering sustainable development, and to developing sustainable technologies that conserve natural resources. In 2008 the National Academy of Engineering announced 14 ?Grand Challenges of Engineering.? Of these 14 Grand Challenges, 6 are very much related to global environmental issues.
