At Dartmouth, you'll design and build things from the start while you learn to think like a problem-solver. You'll work in teams and have access to faculty, workshops, and labs with staff and resources to help along the way. You'll get your hands dirty and learn how to make a difference in any path you choose. Dartmouth AB candidates who major in engineering sciences learn a systems approach that synthesizes concepts from many fields while at the same time specializing in a chosen area. During the AB program, core engineering courses give students tools applicable to all fields while electives allow the student to investigate a field of choice.
