课程简介
The Law, Politics and Society interdisciplinary major draws on resources from across Samford's campus to give you a comprehensive program for studying the law. The major is based in the Department of Political Science, and takes advantage of the department's substantial offerings and resources in law. It also draws from the disciplines of history, journalism, sociology, philosophy, economics, family studies and communication studies. Because the major was created in consultation with Samford's Cumberland School of Law, the program also offers the opportunity to work directly with law faculty. Law, Politics and Society provides a broad liberal arts education as it focuses on law in all of its diversity? In general areas such as jurisprudence, ethics, legal history, law and economics, criminology, international law, and global human rights, and in specific areas such as media law, family law, Alabama and U.S. constitutions, and legal communication. Combined with internships and extracurricular opportunities, it provides an ideal preparation for students called to a career in law.
