De Montfort University alumni scholarship
We are committed to helping our graduates enhance their careers and personal development through further study. We are therefore delighted to offer De Montfort University Alumni a scholarship towards the full tuition fees of a postgraduate qualification.
Details and deadlines of alumni scholarships on offer to students beginning their courses in September 2012 are still being confirmed and will be available shortly.
￡500 fee discount for full-time postgraduate diplomas (PG Dip), master’s degrees (MA, MSc, MBA) and research degrees (MPhil, PhD)
10% fee discount for postgraduate certificates (PG Certs), part-time postgraduate diplomas (PG Dip), master’s degrees (MA, MSc, MBA), research degrees (MPhil, PhD) and professional courses
Deadline for scholarship applications:
1 September for September/October 2011 start dates
13 January for January 2012 start dates (and April 2012 start dates – PhD only)
There are a limited number of scholarships available and eligible students will be awarded on a merit and/or first come first served basis.
This scholarship is NOT awarded automatically so you must apply by email, once holding an offer from us, with the following information:
Your full name and date of birth
Your prior DMU qualification with the date of completion
Your previous DMU student number (if known)
The postgraduate/professional course and study mode you have applied for (eg MSc in Software Engineering, part-time)
The postgraduate/professional course application reference number
Email your application, mentioning your course title in the subject line, to: alumnischolarship@dmu.ac.uk
The deadlines for scholarship applications are:
1 September for October 2011 start dates
13 January for January 2012 start dates and April PhD start dates
Allocation process
Successful recipients will be notified of their award by letter or email in time for the fee discount to be deducted at enrolment.Please keep a copy of your letter/email and bring it to your enrolment as proof of your scholarship.
