新西兰学医不再神秘：奥克兰大学医学专业解读

MBChB第一年（Phase A）：Health Sciences Foundation 入学要求： 语言要求：雅思6.5（每项不低于6分） 学生需先注册就读健康科学学士（Bachelor of Health Sciences）或生物医学方向的理学士（Bachelor of Science – Biomedical Science）。就读科目为一些比较基础的医学理论学科，比如Health Systems; Population Health; Health & Society; Behaviour, Health & Development; Organ Systems等等。 MBChB第二及第三年（Phase 1）：Fundamentals of Clinical Practice 申请截止日期：每年11月1日 入学要求： 语言要求：雅思7.5（每项不低于7分） 其他要求： GPA: 第一年成绩GPA6.0 (平均成绩B+)以上才有可能获得面试资格。 UMAT: 所有申请者必须参加UMAT考试（Undergraduate Medical and Health Sciences Admission Test）。 面试： 面试会从以下方面考查学生的情况： maturity leadership a strong commitment to the study and practice of medicine humanistic qualities such as empathy, sensitivity and friendliness excellent communication skills fluency in English a strong academic background in sciences an enthusiasm for research and life-long learning a wide knowledge of New Zealand‘s multifaceted communities and cultures awareness of prevailing health needs and community issues awareness of the nature of medicine as a profession certainty about career choice enthusiasm for people and their well-being all round abilities and interests across a wide variety of activities. 奥克兰大学医学院会根据申请者的GPA、UMAT以及面试结果而评分，其比重如下: GPA: 60% UMAT score (raw score average of all 3 sections): 15% Interview: 25% 注：如申请者是在国外或新西兰完成医疗科学学士学位（Bachelor of Health Sciences）或生物医学理学士（Bachelor of Science – Biomedical Science），成绩达到GPA6.0（平均B+以上)，可以免读Phase A直接进入Phase 1第二年的筛选阶段。 在Phase 1的第2、3年学习中，属于MBChB学位的初期阶段。课程覆盖基本的医疗健康科学理论及必需的实践操作技能。这两年的课程授课于奥克兰。 从第四年起，在学校的安排下，学生开始进入到医院以及社区环境中进行学习大概35到42周。在第四到第六年三年内，学生会被要求在奥克兰以外地区实习至少一年。实习地区包括农场及城镇地区。 下图为MBChB课程设置，以供参考：
