Faculty of Life Sciences - International Postgraduate Research Bursaries

Academic requirements : Overseas equivalent of a UK First or Upper Second Class Honours degree. This funding is available to international students. This funding is available to full time students. This funding is available to students undertaking study in: Biochemistry, Biological and Computing Science, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Genetics, History of Science, Technology and Medicine, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences, Optometry, Pharmacology, Physiology, Plant Science and Zoology. For applicants whose first language is not English the minimum English language requirement is IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 577 (paper-based), 233 (computer-based) or 90 (internet-based). Bursaries are awarded based on outstanding academic achievement. Applicants for the bursaries must be able to cover the remainder of their tuition fees and living expenses.
