Kent Cancer Trust Scholarship Scheme

In order to be eligible for this scholarship fund, candidates must:

• Have accepted an offer for the MSc Cancer Biology, or and MSc by research on a cancer-related research project, at the University of Kent at the point of application
• Have, or expect to obtain, a minimum Upper Second Class Honours degree or equivalent.

Scholarship holders would be expected to undertake reasonable duties to support the objectives of Kent Cancer Trust in its aim to promote, support and fund translational research into cancer. The specific roles that the Trust is interested in for 2020/21 are outlined below you should relate to one or more of these roles in your application. These requirements can be undertaken in scholar's own time and are anticipated to require an hour per week on average, although some weeks will require a little more activity.

Due to generous support from the Kent Cancer Trust the School of Biosciences at the University of Kent has a modest scholarship fund. The value of each award will depend on the number and quality of application received, but it is anticipated that the maximum value will be £1,000.
