Mac Robertson Postgraduate Travel Scholarship

The Mac Robertson Travel Scholarship is open to all current registered postgraduate research students (PhD, MRes, MPhil, MSc by Research or similar) at the University of Strathclyde and the University of Glasgow. The Scholarship is open to students from all academic disciplines. Travel will not be funded within 6 months of starting or within 6 months prior to the applicant's expected thesis submission date, with the exception of students completing a 1 year Masters degree. Students who have already submitted or will have submitted before or during the planned travel are ineligible to apply. Minimum length of trip is 2 months, with a maximum stay of 12 months.

Applicants to the Mac Robertson Travel Scholarship should show how their research is relevant to both the University of Glasgow and Strathclyde University and how it may contribute to further collaborative research between these two universities. It should be made clear in your application how the intended trip will be additional to and not essential to the completion of the applicant's research degree.
