The entry will also meet at least one of the following criteria:

Student work contributes significantly to the advancement of their field of studies
Student methodology is unique and successfully completed in spite of other potentially restricting factors
Student work identifies trends in their field of study, a potential solution to a problem, previously unrevealed implications and/or risks to overcome
The work receives endorsement from business and/or industry
