Chuck Farquharson Memorial Award

To be considered for this award, students must:

• Be a current member of the Griffin's Hockey Team
• Achieve a minimum 2.7 GPA
• Demonstrate sportsmanship
• Demonstrate volunteer involvement in sporting activities (past or present)
• Be nominated by his/her coach of the respective sport team
• Meet the requirements outlined by USPORTS within the policies and procedure section of the by-laws

Award is presented to a female athlete in numerically even years and to a male athlete in numerically odd years.

No student athlete shall receive any Athletic scholarships, awards or bursaries that exceed the cost of their tuition and mandatory fees (third party sponsorships are excluded) Athletic scholarships, awards and bursaries cannot be given to cover the cost of any noncompulsory fees or books.

Disbursement Criteria

• Must be enrolled full-time.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must be listed on the official roster of a Griffin Athletic Team for the given academic year.
