Westbury Family Scholarship

Criteria

To be eligible, the student must:

• Be enrolled as a full-time student with a declared major in the Bachelor of Arts degree program at MacEwan's Faculty of Arts and Science
• Have completed at least 24 MacEwan credits applicable to the Bachelor of Arts degree
• Be currently enrolled in a minimum of 80% of the full course load (24 credits over the Fall/Winter terms) as of the selection date
• Have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on the credits applicable to the degree and
• Have written, in the the judgment of the adjudication committee, the best essay on the subject of the worth of a Bachelor of Arts degree to society and (using their own experience) to the individual.
• In case of a tie, the student with the highest number of applicable credits will receive the award.

Disbursement Criteria

• Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 80% of the full course load (24 credits over the Fall/Winter terms).
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
