Chancellor's and Vice-Chancellor's International Awards 2022/23

Aimed at: Exceptional international students, with offers for courses in selected subject areas, who will pay full overseas tuition fees. Applicant Eligibility: You must be a self-funding student, with a strong academic background, and have been offered a place on an eligible course starting in September 2022. In order to apply, applicants must hold an unconditional or a conditional offer for an eligible course at Manchester Metropolitan University. If a student holds a conditional offer at the time they make their scholarship application, the award can only be granted once the offer conditions have been met. Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes. Students studying part-time will be eligible for the Scholarship, providing they are paying overseas fees. The scholarship will be awarded on a pro-rata basis in proportion to the tuition fees charged, which means you will receive a proportion of the scholarship in the first year only. Applicants will have successfully met any conditions set for entry onto the programme. In addition to a strong personal statement, submitted as part of the scholarship application process, applicants must also meet the minimum academic requirements to be considered for the awards. Chancellor's International Scholarship: £8,000 - Postgraduate programmes: minimum of 1st class (or equivalent) in their first degree at a recognised institution. Undergraduate programmes: a demonstrable, outstanding academic record reflected in their high school certificate results, or equivalent qualification (a minimum of equivalent to AAB in A levels). Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship: £6,000 - Postgraduate programmes: minimum of for a 2i class (or equivalent) in their first degree at a recognised institution. UG programmes : a minimum of equivalent to ABB in A levels.
