La Trobe Greater China Scholarship

La Trobe University values academic excellence. High achieving International students thinking about applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course will be automatically be considered for this scholarship.

The La Trobe Greater China Scholarship rewards high achieving International students. This scholarship is a deduction in the annual tuition fees by 20% to 30% for the entire duration of studies.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a citizen of China, Hong Kong, or Macau.
• Be a new International student applying for 2022/2023 intakes.
• Be a full fee-paying student (Non-sponsored).
• Apply to a program in the LTIS List of eligible courses.

Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:

La Trobe Greater China Academic Scholarship (WAM -55-69.9) - Amount: 20%

La Trobe Greater China Merit Scholarship (WAM - 70-74.9) - Amount: 25%

La Trobe Greater China Excellence Scholarship (WAM -75+) - Amount: 30%

How is it paid?

This scholarship will be applied as a discount to your tuition fees for each subject studied for the entire duration of the course. You will be required to meet all conditions (if applicable) outlined in the Letter of Offer and accept the offer by paying the required deposit before the scholarship can be applied. Please note: Failure to meet your condition(s) and pay the acceptance deposit on time may result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.
