IGGS is an independent, non-denominational day and boarding school for girls, located in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia.  It also includes Ipswich Junior Grammar School, which operates on the same campus. The Junior School is co-educational from Kindergarten up to Year 6. Founded in 1892, IGGS is one of the eight original Queensland Grammar Schools.  The school has historic buildings, some of which are heritage-listed. Years covered: Kindergarten  early education, primary (Junior School), through secondary and senior (P-12) with boarding from approximately Year 5 or Year 7 for girls (depending on junior vs senior school). Offers a broad curriculum, including many electives in languages, arts, sciences, humanities and vocational education and training (VET) courses.
