2023 - Practical Legal Training Scholarships

All scholarships require students to meet the following eligibility criteria:

Completed or almost completed a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor at an Australian university.

Be enrolled (or accepted for enrolment) in the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Curtin.

Commence the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2023 at Curtin.

Deferral is not permitted.

Additional requirements for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Practical Legal Training Scholarship:

Be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.

Additional requirements for the Academic Excellence Practical Legal Training Scholarship:

Achieved a course weighted average of 75 or higher for their Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor course.

Additional requirements for the John Curtin Law Clinic – Service Excellence Scholarship:

Enrolled and successfully completed the option unit, Legal Clinic (LAWS3005) as a part of their Bachelor of Laws.
