We live in a complex, fast-paced world. Technological advances and economic interdependence are bringing us closer together, enabling people from around the world to collaborate, innovate, and solve difficult problems. At the same time, globalization is creating new pressures on national governments and new challenges that cannot be solved by one country alone. The Global Leadership Institute prepares you to meet these challenges by understanding the dynamics that drive these changes and building practical leadership skills to apply that knowledge and tackle the pressing global issues that we face today.
This institute combines traditional undergraduate class curriculum with organized field trips, guest lectures, and hands-on activities in order for students to gain valuable academic and career experience. The institute is divided into morning and afternoon sessions that include assigned readings, daily assignments, and a final project.

A reminder that to be eligible for a High School Summer Institute you should:
Be a current freshman, sophomore or junior in high school.
Have an academic average of B+ or better.
As an international student, have a TOEFL score of at least 90.
