Steps to meet admission requirements
1. High Academic Standards & TOEFL Score
Each student must have an academic average of approximately 70% in their previous studies, along with a strong SSAT, TOEFL, IELTS or other accepted English test score.
2. Interview with Principal
All applicants are required to conduct an in-person/online interview with the Principal of their chosen Maple Leaf World School. If the Principal deems the student’s English language ability to be sufficient, the student may be granted an exemption from providing English language ability test scores.
3. Required Documents
Applicants must have a valid passport and provide our admissions team witha copy of the photo ID page. If the student is currently studying in Canada,they must provide their Canada Study Permit and Student Visa. Other required documents include two years of prior academic transcripts, behavioral records or teacher comments from the previous school, a letter of recommendation from either the previous Principal or home teacher, and all relevant English testing certifications (IELTS, TOEFL etc.)
Please note all documents are required to be translated into English.
4. Canadian Study Permit
International students may apply for their Canadian Study Permit using the Official Letter of Acceptance issued by Maple Leaf World Schools. Applicants from China may go to/contact the Student Consultation Center in Maple Leaf World School’s Head Office in Dalian, China where they will provide a high- quality, paid visa assistance service.
