  3) Submit your application fee & other important documents

Pay the application fee of $200 through Flywire and submit the following documents:

  • Transcripts of the most recent school results

  • High School Graduation Certificate (for applicants to University programs)

  • Copy of the personal information page in your passport

  • English Proficiency Results – IELTS, TOEFL, etc (if applicable)

Unless you are applying through one of our authorized representatives, original copies or notarized copies of the original documents are required for the purpose of admission to Columbia College.

The College processes applications upon receipt of all required documents and issues an offer of admission to successful applicants within two weeks.

  4) Pay your tuition deposit

On receipt of the Offer of Admission, overseas students are required to prepay a tuition deposit of $13,270 Canadian dollars (covering 24 credits over two semesters, as well as activity fees).

Local transfer students are required to pay a tuition deposit of $6,635 Canadian dollars (covering 12 credits coursework plus one semester’s activity fee).

An Official Letter of Acceptance will be issued when the full amount is paid.

Enrollment at the College is limited and places cannot be guaranteed unless the tuition deposit described above has been received before the deadline. All fees are in Canadian funds and may be paid via Flywire.

*Applicants should read the College’s Refund Policy before submitting fees.

  5) Apply for a Study Permit

Please ensure you have a valid study permit.

Successful overseas applicants should present their Official Letter of Acceptance to the nearest Canadian High Commission, Embassy, or Consulate as part of the application for a Study Permit to study in Canada. Applicants should allow adequate time for processing of the Permit.

Study Permits may not be required for ESL-only programs of less than or equal to six months duration.

Columbia College participates in the Student Direct Stream (SDS) in India, China, Vietnam, and the Philippines. We encourage students from these countries to apply for their study permit under the SDS. To learn more about the SDS, please visit this website.
