To apply for admission as an undergraduate student, each international student is required to provide the following:
A completed application for undergraduate admission.
Complete one required essay chosen from one of seven prompts.
Optional: Submit recommendation letters (academic, professional, or personal) and a Personal Statement.
Upload Secondary School Transcripts, Diplomas, Certificates, or Examination Results
For students attending a high school in the US, our admissions team uses your self-reported grades to calculate your UT core GPA.
For students attending secondary school outside the US, our admissions team will need official copies of your transcript, diploma, or certificate prior to enrollment.
Request your secondary school or counselor to send your official transcripts. Transcripts, certificates, or diplomas must come directly from the issuing school or issuing ministry or body. Official transcripts are certified copies sent directly from the authorized school official.
Submit Proof of English Proficiency -
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or IELTS Indicator – a minimum score of 6.5.
TOEFL-IBT - overall score 70.
TOEFL-PBT - overall score 523

课程简介
The profession of forestry is the science, the art, and the practice of managing and using for human benefit the natural resources that occur on and in association with forest lands. Benefits are derived from the multiple resources of the forest - wood, water, wildlife, recreation, forage, and environmental amenities. Foresters are managers of these resources. Thus, our principal instructional objective is to provide the broad education needed to deal effectively with the complex of forest resources. The conservation and restoration concentration is an interdisciplinary program emphasizing forestry, ecology, soil and waters, and wildlife. In addition to the general education courses, the conservation and restoration curriculum includes core courses in the traditional forestry discipline. The curriculum is designed to prepare graduates who can evaluate terrestrial ecosystems and plan for the conservation of healthy ecosystems, the improvement of degraded ones, and the reclamation or restoration of severely disturbed land. Students may choose from a broad range of technical courses, or may choose to focus their program on a particular aspect of restoring or conserving ecosystems such as wildlife habitat, watersheds, ecosystem construction, or ecology and biodiversity.
