Environmental Technology is a three-year Ontario college advanced diploma program combined with a co-op component. Students will study and gain experience in environmental processes that provides foundational knowledge of air, water and waste management issues. Graduates will feel confident entering the workforce after hands-on learning combined with 12 - 16 months of co-op training.<br>Maintaining, nurturing and protecting the environment is a global priority. The environmental course curriculum includes bacteriology, analytical chemistry, air pollution meteorology, water quality management, industrial hygiene and hydrogeology. This environmental program emphasizes measurement and analysis techniques as well as legislation for air, water and waste.<br>The theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience using state-of-the-art instrumentation, combined with real work applications, will give you a competitive edge upon graduation with your environmental diploma. <br>This three-year program provides students with a strong basic knowledge of Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology with focus on the concepts of air, water and wastewater management to round out their learning experience. In particular, the program emphasizes in-depth training in the principles and procedures of measurement and analysis techniques, and legislation for air, water and waste.
