The Professional Science Master's (PSM) in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability (ESS) is an interdisciplinary graduate degree that empowers students with the in-demand skills, advanced scientific knowledge, and on-the-job experience to launch lucrative careers in sustainability.<br><br>ESS faculty bring their world-leading expertise in carbon management, climate risk assessment, water resources, and food systems sustainability. Students can focus their education in these areas or custom tailor their curriculum to support their individual career aspirations and interests.<br><br>Focusing on technical skills that employers need nowlike coding, modeling, data science, and policy reviewthe PSM prepares students for work in a variety of growing sectors.<br><br>Instead of a thesis or a group project, students gain real-world work experience through a 400-hr professional internship, allowing them to build their resume and professional network as they earn their degree.<br><br>The PSM can be completed in as few as three semesters and students can accumulate credit via remote, online courses before they arrive at CSU.
