The Environmental Technology concentration teaches students to use GIS tools (geographic information systems) in making informed environmental decisions and in modeling environmental processes. Students also explore conventional water treatment methods. Learn to use GIS tools (geographic information systems) to aid in informed environmental decision making, model and experience environmental processes, and explore conventional water treatment methods with in the environmental technology concentration. Environmental & Sustainability Studies programs at Tennessee Tech are supported by cutting-edge resource centers and culminate in a hands-on experience or research project addressing an actual environmental problem.
