English proficiency may be demonstrated by: A minimum TOEFL score of 79. A minimum IELTS score of 6.5. The admission qualifications for international applicants are the same as domestic applicants with the addition of: Proof of English Proficiency Official diploma for institutions who do not list a degree and graduation date on the transcript. Requests for exception to this policy may be submitted via email to the Office of Admissions. Acceptable grounds for waiving this requirement may include: Successful completion (C or higher) of a college-level, non-ESL English composition course. A comparable score on another approved exam such as the ACT, SAT or ACCUPLACER exam. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5

课程简介

This program addresses many of the environmental issues influencing Alaska communities and provides basic academic preparation for entry-level vocational environmental careers. The program serves as a steppingstone into science-related associate or baccalaureate programs. This program may be especially of interest to individuals employed by and/or interested in employment with state, federal or tribal agencies or other groups providing natural resource management services. It is recommended that students have completed a high school lab-based science, biology or chemistry course as well as algebra due to the science focus of this program.
