The Environmental Applied Science Technology program teaches you scientific theory in classes such as environmental microbiology, soil science, air quality, environmental chemistry, environmental management, and site assessments. You will learn about climate change, groundwater contamination and flow, impacts of pollution, ecosystem health, waste management, and environmental sustainability. Take your love of the environment outdoors to apply these theories while working and sampling in rivers, streams, and various facilities. You will collect and analyze water, soil, and air samples and compare results from previous years to monitor environmental health.
