In general, applicants may be admitted to a graduate program if they have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least a 3.0 (B) cumulative undergraduate GPA and a 3.0 (B) GPA in their major . The minimum TOEFL score required for admission is 79. The minimum IELTS score required for admission is 6.5.
Submit official college and university transcripts (official record of your academic work which needs to include grades or marks) to be sent in English directly from your university to UAF Office of Admissions.
Submit scores from the GRE if your department requires them or if your GPA falls below a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Submit your resume/vitae, which includes work and research experience, publications, patents, honors, professional and civic memberships, and foreign travel.
Provide a Statement of Academic Goals indicating why you want to study in a particular program. Include your qualifications and educational experience.
Provide three letters of recommendation from people able to speak to the quality of your work, character and ability to complete graduate study and research.
Submit a copy of your passport.
