In this specialisation you will advance your knowledge of Astrophysics through advanced coursework; you will also have the option to undertake elective coursework in other subject areas relevant to career development in Astrophysics. Studies will be chosen from a variety of topics including: Computational astrophysics (compulsory), Observational astronomy, General relativity & cosmology, Exoplanets, Stars, Nuclear astrophysics, High energy astrophysics and Data Analysis & Machine Learning. In addition to coursework studies, you will complete research projects in computational astrophysics or observational astronomy. Reflecting the breadth and depth of our research expertise and industry connections, you can undertake a range of subject areas across the four disciplines that will empower you to build upon your science training and knowledge to influence the future and make new discoveries.
