You can study for an MPhil or MRes over one year, or a PhD over the course of three years. Mathematics and statistics are at the heart of all scientific and engineering disciplines, and we have a strong international reputation in the use of modelling and analysis to solve many problems relevant to industry, business and wider society. We work with researchers in other universities, from other disciplines and from industry, business and government sectors, across the UK, Europe, China and the USA.
