For the first three years you will follow our BSc (Hons) Mathematics programme, which covers a range of mathematical topics (including specialist areas such as cryptology, mathematical biology, and logic). You'll have the chance to shape the course to your own interests and career aspirations, we ensure that what you learn is interesting, innovative and relevant. At the end of your third year you have the option of progressing onto our MMath (Hons) degree, which involves an extra year of advanced study. As well as studying more advanced mathematical topics (such as graph theory, topology, and chaos) you'll learn to study in a more independent fashion and develop your transferable skills even further.
