Most biological disciplines rely on analyses at the molecular level and the use of molecular biology to manipulate genes and proteins. Our MSc will give you the training necessary to become an active and engaged researcher in this field. You'll spend a large part of your course researching real biological problems in a research-active laboratory, relying on close interaction with your supervisor and becoming part of their research group. You'll benefit from our state-of-the-art facilities, including the Sussex Centre for Advanced Microscopy.
