You must demonstrate that your English is good enough for you to successfully complete your course. For this course we require: GCSE English Language at grade 4/C, IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or an alternative acceptable English language qualification

We do not accept the TOEFL paper-based test, or MyBest scores

This course focuses on whole-organism biology. Specialist modules cover animal behaviour, evolutionary biology, ecology, genetics, climate change and molecular biology. You spend the second year at a major university in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia Singapore or Hong Kong, gaining first-hand knowledge of ecosystems and organisms in your chosen region. You don't add a year to your degree to study abroad and you have reduced tuition fees during that year. Returning to Sheffield for your third year, you'll follow a programme of study that builds on your knowledge and skills with a research project and dissertation.
