Plant science combines a broad range of approaches to understand and manipulate how plants function in the natural world. In combination with Molecular and Cellular Biology with Plant Science this offers a fundamental approach that underpins the study of all living organisms. The molecular and cellular basis of plant growth and disease as well as plant biotechnology and food security, Plant Science underpins our survival. Now is an exciting time to be a plant scientist.
